Don’t worry if you feel you won’t know what to do, that’s up to me to give you gentle direction to bring out the natural interactions with each of your family members and all the emotion you have for one another. I might instruct you to look at each other, tickle, whisper a secret, or hold your baby a certain way, let you make the magic happen in a natural way. I won’t ask you to smile on demand, I much prefer for you to look at each other and not the camera.
I don’t use props but should you have a bottle of bubbles that helps the children play and forget about the camera lets use them.
When you book a family photo shoot or a newborn photo shoot, I’ll send you my Welcome Booklet that has lots of info about how to prepare, what to wear, etc. Your home doesn’t need to be spotless as I prefer the ‘lived in’ look that says so much about who your family is now.
