With the Covid lockdowns in Melbourne this gorgeous girl unfortunately missed having her VCE formal, the event that marks the end of her years of schooling. Just when she thought one lockdown had finished, she went and purchased her beautiful dress, then another lockdown began making her miss out on having a formal at all. The VCE school formal represents more than just a party; it symbolizes a rite of passage and the end of an era. It was the opportunity to say goodbye to school life in style, to celebrate achievements and bid farewell to friends as they go on their separate paths.
This is a night to remember, where the fun of working out what you’re going to wear and who you are at this time of your life needs to be celebrated.. Her Mum thought it a great idea to organise a photo shoot, a way to create a memory for her in her new dress at this stage of her life. Her brother had also just had his VCE formal a week prior so a perfect opportunity to capture them both together.
We decided to have the photo shoot down at the beach, the perfect backdrop to compliment the pastel colour of her dress. Nothing can replace her formal but I hope these photos will give her a happy memory with her brother that she’ll treasure always!
