Newborn babies are so tiny and delicate when you first arrive home from the hospital. I like to take photos of their tiny features, those little toes, dainty fingers and those gorgeous button noses are some of my favourite details to capture in a newborn photo shoot. If someone asks me how much hair our son had when he was a newborn, I struggle to remember as I was in that newborn bubble haze.
As a Mum myself I have a little box full of tidbits from my son's first couple of weeks.....first dummy, tag from the hospital, ultra-sound photos, and of course photos taken in the hospital. As he got older I've even kept a lock of his hair from his first haircut and all his baby teeth (I was told it was a good idea to hold onto these)! They may not be worth anything to anybody else but the sentimental value is huge for me and my husband.
They grow so fast and those features literally change overnight, photos like these will be treasured memories of just how tiny they were when you first brought them home.
