Location Spotting! | Tween Fine Art Photography Melbourne

As a photographer I'm always on the lookout for different locations for client photo shoots.  You can take some of the most beautiful photos in a very small area and spots that you would normally just drive past.

When I was dropping off my son's friend at his home, I noticed across the road a magnificent tree with stunning red petals (not sure the name of the tree)!  Anyway, I couldn't help myself and organised an impromptu photo shoot with the gorgeous Ava & Jaz.

Trying to get Toby to stand still for this shot of gorgeous wall light coming through the nearby closed curtain - not very enthused!!!

This is a very impromptu photo of Toby, split second timing before he jumped off the beanbag saying "Nooooooo"!!!   This is what happens when you try to photograph your own family!!!

Family Photography Melbourne | Project 52 "Nature"

During the Easter break we went to the Dandenong Ranges.  Nature rejuvenates the soul, especially with Autumn here.  It's amazing what you discover!

Black & White tells the viewer the story straight away without the distraction of colour. It can be classic or bold, moody and dramatic and can conjure an emotion to the story that's being told!

This week's theme is "Up" (thanks Caroline)!

They grow so quickly....!

It was Toby's birthday yesterday but we had a quiet day as he went to see his favourite movie with a couple of his mates last Saturday. He's now officially a 'Tween' but still loves his Lego. My little man is growing up so fast.....!

A New Year, a New Challenge - Project 52

Happy New Year everyone!  Having completed my 365 Photo a Day challenge 2013, I’ve been pondering what to do this year.  I constantly get asked for advice on how to use your cameras so I thought for this year’s challenge I’d do Project 52.  Personal photos of my everyday presented at the end of each week.  With this I’ll get you (my readers) to challenge me each week with a photographic theme or topic of your choice.  You can ask me to include anything from photographic techniques and questions or material objects such as a clock, sun, sky, beach, etc.  I’ll photograph that week to include your ideas.  Can’t wait to receive your thoughts for this week!
